A Google representative said the app will be focused on spoken word content. There is very little near to no public information about this project from Google. But Shortwave will defiantly have features like AI, smart captioning and translation like previous podcast products.
App is being developed within the company’s Area 120 incubator, and is unrelated to any existing Google products says the Google spokesperson.
